A: No. The only way we guarantee a date is if the client meets the booking requirements(see next question) and the vehicle is still available. That being said, we will try our best to notify you if someone else is about to book, but can offer no gaurantees.
A: We require a credit card on file, completed rental contract and a 50% retainer. If booking within 30 days, full payment is required. If you would like to expedite your booking, feel free to fill out our online Rental Contract. Once submitted our staff will review it to make sure everything is correct then send a booking confirmation via email provided.
A: Yes. All of our vehicles are driven by a seasoned chauffeur to allow you to enjoy your trip without worry. If you are looking to do a photo shoot without a driver, please call us for special pricing 
A: Yes and No. Our full executive fleet rents in one hour increments allowing you to reserve the hours you need A single hour rental (aka One Way trip) is typically rated higher than a rental with consecutive hours. Our antique buses have a 4 hour consecutive only requirement. If you would like a full price guide, please submit a quote request.
A: Absolutely. Our one way prices are listed in our price guide(submit a quote request to receive a price guide) and consist of only picking up from one location and dropping off at one location.
A: We require that an additional total of 20% for gratuity, tax, and fuel be added to all bookings. Also, any charges made with a credit card are subject to a 4% convenience fee, although you may avoid this by paying in by cash or check.
A: Yes. Coolers are allowed but please understand that there is no food allowed in any of the vehicles and any spill stains/damages will incur a fee. All food and beverage items are prohibited in our vintage cars unless secured by a chauffeur prior to service. 

A: Yes. A non-refundable 50% retainer is required to book and full payment is required if booking within 30 days of the date. Once booked, final payment is due 30 days prior to date to avoid late fees.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The purchaser agrees to be fully liable for all charges that may incur at the discretion of LowCountry Valet and Shuttle Co.

I. General Terms

The rental contract between the purchaser/renter and Lowcountry Valet & Shuttle Co. (LVSC) is made with the information and the terms provided at the time of booking. All of the given information provided by the purchaser/renter is binding and cannot be changed without LVSC’s acceptanc

II. Payments

Confirmation of rental date will be provided upon payment confirmation for either telephonic or online booking. Payment in full is required before dispatching rental to avoid fees. Is it not necessary to obtain a signature from purchaser/renter/client to authorize credit card payment from transactions made via telephone or online.

At time of pickup we may require the credit card and a state identification of the purchaser authorizing the transaction for the signed contract.

All prices are quoted for cash only payments. A standard 4% processing fee is applied to all credit card payments. Final payment is due 30 days prior to service. If final payment has not been received 14 days prior to service date, your credit card will be charged the remaining balance.

If any payment goes unpaid for (30) thirty days after the final payment is due, LVSC will have the right to add and collect late charges at a rate of $25.00 per day following service date. All such sums are due along with any other expenses, (filing fees, court cost, and reasonable attorney fees, damages caused from non-payment, etc.)

The purchaser/client assumes full responsibility for any and all payments, for services etc., made by LVSC. All deposits and payments are considered NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERRABLE. Any reduction of service time and/or services does not warrant a reduction in total balance owed to LVSC. Purchaser/client agrees to hold harmless for any and all losses or illegal charges they or any other person or entity may suffer. I the credit card holder / purchaser agree to pay LVSC upon signing of this contract.

Payments are made with LVSC office staff only and any cash received by our drivers will be considered additional gratuity not to be applied to the cost of the rental. All gratuity received by drivers is considered non-refundable.

III. Rental Capacity

Any rental vehicle with a capacity for over 14 passengers has to follow DOT regulations and cannot get on certain roads/parkways. Please allow additional time when booking DOT vehicles. Keep in mind the max speed of these vehicles are governed at 55 mph.

Do not overload the vehicle. Our seating capacity is based on the “average” sized person per federal regulations. You agree that our company and anyone associated with the charter/service hold no liability for your actions during or after the conclusion of your charter. You agree to be solely responsible for actions, decisions and judgments made and exercised during and after the conclusion of your charter. Please be advised that we may not be able to make any changes to times or destinations once the charter is retained due to scheduling conflicts. Please be aware that if you shorten your charter time, there are no refunds for unused time.

IV. Charter Time

LVSC cannot guarantee the availability of overtime. It is of particular importance that the purchaser makes allowances for anticipated delays and adheres to the agreed time schedule. In the event that the purchaser wants to change the time of the itinerary, they may do so, only if LVSC is able to accommodate. The purchaser further agrees to pay any additional charges incurred such as, overtime, tolls, parking, overnight accommodations for driver/crew, etc.

LVSC is not responsible for traffic or delays caused by directions given to the driver by passengers during the vehicle rental’s time. LVSC driver may assist with luggage upon request, but assumes no liability for doing so.

IVa.Overtime/No Shows :

On all reservations you will be considered a no-show at 30 minutes past your scheduled pick-up time if you have not met with your driver or spoke with us by phone. No refunds will be granted for a no-show.

On all Point to Point Transfers( aka One Way trip), LVSC provides up to a 15 minute grace period at pick-up before wait time charges apply at the hourly rate of the vehicle + 20% for fuel, tax and gratuity.

Overtime for hourly rentals is applied 15 minutes after your scheduled end time and is billed in 1 hour increments. Any additional charges will be charged to the original purchaser’s credit card as a supplemental charge.

Your rental vehicle may be scheduled for another charter at the end of yours, thus making your vehicle unavailable for any additional hours for you. If your charter interferes with another charter causing our service to be late, you will be held responsible for the monetary refund if applicable to the waiting party.

V. Conduct

If the driver determines that the behavior of you or your guests for any reason is out of control, unsafe, illegal, dangerous, belligerent, or irresponsible to lives and property, he/she may terminate the charter immediately without a warning. If driver terminates charter due to guest’s misconduct, there will be no refund or credit of any kind.

We reserve the right to refuse service when deemed necessary. Our driver reserves the right to refuse travel on certain roads. Do not ask driver to do anything that will require he/she to leave the vehicle unattended. Alcohol will not be consumed by any passenger under the age of 21. If this is found, the charter will be terminated immediately with assistance from law enforcement, and no refund or credit will be given. We by law, are not permitted to provide any alcoholic beverage to our clients, even those of legal age. Possession or use of illegal drugs is prohibited in any of our vehicles. If drugs are observed, your charter will be terminated with the assistance from law enforcement, and no refund or credit will be granted.

VI. Mechanical Malfunction/Refunds

LVSC has the right to switch the contracted vehicle(s) or contract another company in case of emergencies or vehicle malfunction. In the event contracted equipment is not available for use for any reason whatsoever including mechanical issues, a substitute vehicle or vehicles may be used to satisfy this contract. Should the breakdown of the vehicles cause passengers to arrive in excess of 30 minutes late to the designated event location, LVSC will reimburse the client for any alternate transportation and/or vendor fees resulting from the late arrival of guests not to exceed the amount of the original contracted amount with LVSC.

Since LVSC offers high-tech-equipped vehicles, sometimes temperature and excessive use of all power-operated equipment might be subject to failure. This will not interfere with the safety of the vehicle itself and therefore will have no effect on continuing services or cost of the contracted charter.

Since we allow our customers a 15 minute grace period, we also reserve the same for our pickup location times. Please plan accordingly. We shall not be held liable for damage or harm, to property or person(s), unless such is caused by the intentional negligence on the part of the driver.

LVSC recommends that all personal valuables be removed from the vehicle when unattended. We will not be held responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged articles.

All other requests for refunds must be done in writing and shall be granted solely at the discretion of LVSC. LVSC reserves the right to terminate any reservation without refund, if the driver or the dispatcher on duty feels that the Renter and /or Party of the Renter is putting the driver, rental vehicle or the Renter/and/or Party of the Renter in danger of injury. This also applies if the Renter and/or Party of the Renter are in the possession of any illegal material and/or substance.

If LVSC does not receive a written complaint within 48 hours from the end of the contract time, client agrees that they are 100% satisfied and happy with all services provided and there are no valid complaints and Client/Purchaser is not entitled to a reimbursement of any kind. Client understands that this would be a separate case from this main contract and therefore have no dispute in general against LVSC and the payment client authorized.

VII. Cancellations

All cancellations have to be submitted in writing. Any changes to the initial reservation have to be confirmed with LVSC. LVSC reserves the right to terminate this or any other contract for noncompliance of the above requests, especially if renters do not follow driver’s requests in order to enforce rules outlined on signed contract.

If the contract is cancelled or services are reduced after it is signed, LVSC is still authorized to collect the remaining balance in full. If the vehicle is rented again on the cancelled rental date for the same amount by another client, LVSC will grant a full refund.

Force Majeure – A Party shall not be deemed in default of this Agreement, nor shall it hold the other Party responsible for, any cessation, interruption or delay in the performance of its obligations (excluding payment obligations) due to earthquake, flood, fire, storm, natural disaster, act of God, war, terrorism, armed conflict, labor strike, lockout, boycott or other similar events beyond the reasonable control of the Party, provided that the Party relying upon this provision: (a.) gives prompt written notice thereof, and (b.) takes all steps reasonably necessary to mitigate the effects of the force majeure event.

If a force majeure event extends for a period in excess of 30 days in the aggregate, either Party may immediately terminate this Agreement upon written notice.

VIII. Damage/Liability

The client/purchaser accepts full liability for all damage(s) done to the vehicle either by yourself or your guests during your charter. You understand that the vehicle has been inspected prior to your charter and found to be of sound condition. You have the right to request an inspection prior to and/or at the conclusion of your charter WITH your driver. If inspections are not requested then any complaints related to the vehicle are void. No smoking is allowed in our vehicles. If smoking occurs in our vehicles the charter will be terminated and no refund will be issued.

Damage charges:

$5.00 per broken/missing glassware.

$30.00 per broken/missing crystal.

$50.00 minimum for each burn, rip or tear to upholstery.

$100.00 minimum for extensive cleanup (spills, smoking, trash, etc.)

$250.00 minimum for shampoo and disinfecting (due to bodily fluids)

$300.00 minimum for each act of vandalism.

$300.00 minimum for any escape hatch/roof damages.

IX. Confirmation

While we send out many confirmations and reconfirmation prior to service, we request that client call and confirm the times and addresses 48 hours before your scheduled charter time. If confirmation is not made, LVSC is not responsible for errors associated with your charter. Make sure you provide us with detailed directions to reduce error.

X. Agreement

I am satisfied with the terms and conditions above and fully understand and agree. If, for any reasons, I am not fully satisfied with the services I receive, I have 48 hours after the completion of the job to file a complaint in writing via email.
